The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005, requires a person who commissions or procures a project for construction work to appoint in writing a competent person to manage safety during the design process, the Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP), and also places specific duties on designers and contractors involved in construction projects.

The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013 to 2020 require a client involved in construction to appoint in writing a competent person to manage safety during the construction works, the Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) and places specific duties on all persons involved in the project.

We can help Clients, Designers, Contractors and Sub-Contractors meet their obligations under this legislation  by providing practical cost effective guidance and advice at all stages of the project, co-ordinating the roles of PSDP & PSCS if required, preparing Preliminary and Construction Stage Safety Plans, Method and Safety Statements, undertaking regular Safety Audits throughout the course of the project and assisting in the preparation of the Safety File for the Client on completion of the project.
